Job experiece programs such as:
Leasehold Improvements to the Project Facility
Maintenance of Buses
Small Appliance Repair
Installation of Solar and Wind Energy Systems
Work "Fair" programs will prepare participants for jobs of
the future while producing a "marketable" item, thus ensuring
income for the Project Facility. These programs will enhance what is currently
available, enabling small business owners to improve and "grow"
their business better.

to work." - Bob Rae, Former NDP Leader

young people, from every walk of life, will be allowed to follow their

The Project Co-ordinators are certain that as a community we can
achieve:
Job Creation through the Opportunity Network and the TEMPS Worker Co-op.
Employment, Counceling and Referral Outreach Services for Rural Victoria
County.
Advancement of Education through credit and non-credit courses, delivered
by qualified instructors.
Transportation services from the Rural Areas to the Project Facility
in Fenelon Falls.
Day and Evening Child Care Services in a co-operative environment that
will be affordable.
Family and Community enrichment through fun studies and activities such
as theatre, art, gardening, crafts, dances, sports, games, etc.
"The End of the Welfare Bum Campaign", designed to blow
away the public, political, and self-image of welfare recipients!
We're "New Economy Entrepreneurs" and we're not sitting on
our "ASSETS"!
Designed by the people it serves to meet their needs!
We have been working on this COMMUNTIY DREAM for ten years, and we
have proof that this plan is working!
Our proposal to the Provincial Government states: "A hand up -
not a hand out." Therefore, contributions will be given a "Dollar
Value" in the project budget, and "Investors" will benefit
directly.
We have shown now that we will do our part. What we require NOW is
a Hand Up!
Planning for these projects began in 1987, and have been introduced
since July 1994.
