Henderson House Henderson House was the home of Robert John (1879-1955) and Georgina (1878-1918) Henderson and their two children. Robert Henderson operated a blacksmith business in a shop located just east of the original house.
At present Henderson House holds meetings of both community groups and Kawartha Region Arts and Heritage Society committees as well as a space for the many activities which the village offers. (See Main Page for activities) Henderson house is in use almost every day of the year and is used as the main base of Kawartha Settlers' Village. For your convenience Henderson House is accessible to the physically challenged.
